updates:
..went to the Barn Theatre in Michigan for 3 and a half months this summer.
-I can't even begin to tell you about the people I met and the experiences I had at the Barn.
..i'm in love!
-crazy? maybe. but wonderful.
..I'm a supporting lead in my school's musical of "A Man of No Importance"..I speak in an Irish accent and have many other secrets ;) hehe. so I would love if y'all would message me to find out when that is so you can come. I'm not toooo far :D

heyyyy y'allllll. I'm writing from the spotlight booth at the barn theatre in michigan..spotting the fabulous 3 hour version of the full monty.
so my summer is the best and worst experience of my life. I work wayyyy too much, but the nights I'm in the shows are great. we have these bar shows too, which is like a cabaret show with fun numbers after every mainstage show..and I have gotten to perform so many different cute and amazing songs. but yeah..those are fun.
I found a boyfriend! I came into the barn and was like..hmm no boys here for samm..but little did I know how much I could like someone. his name is patrick and he's from new orleans..but he goes to school in ny :) he is amazing? is this too much? ugh..im one of THOSE girls now I suppose..the girlfriend. oh well! he's a big sweetie and is talented to boot.its about damn time.
I miss everyone very much..but its going to be sooo weird going back to school.i will be in slow motion there compared to the schedule im on now.
I miss a few people A LOT.
my boobs got bigger and I'm getting bigger..gotta work out haah.

okay well. here i am. i made it to michigan. my dad drove me 12 hours. i am doing what i want. i am doing summerstock theatre. i am now at a best western. there is farmland EVERYWHERE here. it was really gloomy today because of the grey skies, but i'm hoping tomorrow is better. the gloom makes me very nervous.honestly, i've been so calm about this whole michigan experience since i got the job, but now that i'm here..WHOA THE SECOND THOUGHTS ARE FLYING. i am SO nervous. i am VERY scared. i will be away from home for 3 and a half months..and then i IMMEDIATELY return back to school. like i am traveling home on move in day.i just want that time to come honestly.i want to be with corey.i want to be with craig. i want to be with my friends.i want to stay on long island for the summer.

but i am very excited for this opportunity..i really am. i just feel very alone right now in this best western hotel (motel?).i just keep thinking i can not do this. i am scared i'm going to be in some tranny run down house and be attacked by a bear.

but okay..i'm okay right? if anyone can do this, it's me. this is my summer. i will be in shows. i will meet gays. i will meet boys. i will make friends. i will work hard. i will write home and know i am missed. i will cry when i need to. i will right ghhheyyyy journal entries on occasion. i just want you all to know i will miss you.

i'm so happy to be here..sure i have my lows, but i know i'm in the right place..i've never felt this right about a place. i miss eddie, caitlin, cory, etc..so much it's a joke though.

but my life IS a joke. i say it all the time..but i mean it. Sometimes the joke is hilarious and brilliant and the best...but sometimes the joke isn't really that funny and i'm not happy it's a joke. but it's mostly pretty wonderful right now.

my break was fabulous.

oh Dear God. well how do I even begin? well dan loughran is lying next to me right now on his couch in philly. last night I hung out with dan and his friend kat at her beautiful apartment for a bit. then dan, like the angel that he is drove me to the holiday inn EXPRESS haha. so I could hang out with christina and other random montclair ppl. I ended going to "the dance" with the montclairions with christina's name tag. keep in mind..i am not allowed to be at this dance..and christina is in the hotel doing random things..while I am out impersonating her.

the dance was hilarious..and well it was bret's birthday..so he definitely was feeling little pain. hah. and then..in they walk..EDDIECAITLINALYCORYALYSSA..ETCCCCC. ohhhhmyyyyGod I almost started crying when I was reunited with my loves! especially in a dance that I was not allowed in at a festival I did not sign up to go to. oh btw, the adelphi/monty kids are at a theatre festival called KCACTF. so that's why they were all in one place at one time causing me to have a heart attack of excitement. I got to see chris bott! and ben farha and even katie perpall? haha

I had a fabulous night. that ended on christina's hotel room floor between her bed and the wall.hahah

now I'm sitting here with sleepy dan waiting to see what happens next

wow jeezum judybee's! i can't believe i just went through another semester of college! of a new college even! it's great getting to be apart of the freshmen class ALL OVER AGAIN. actually i'm happy about it right now..because I'm really enjoying the people I'm with.

it's weird being a musical theatre major though. i mean, i'm well aware that i have no guaranteed career..but somehow, you just know it will be alright..and going to college for it wasn't a waste or a joke. believe whatever you will, but ya gotta keep the faith. when my friend danny (<3) read my palm [on more than one occasion], he said that i'm going to struggle alot with different obstacles..and most of these obstacles are going to be within myself. SURPRISEEE hhhaha. yeahhhh ultimately, I will be the one who holds myself back. Danny also said that "ultimate glory" lies in my palm. So i guess that's good too :)

potential boiboi? let's wait and see.

the more friends i am surrounding myself with, the lonlier i am feeling. i'm always just sitting in peoples' rooms instead of my own. i am super independent and love being alone, but at school i need to constantly have people around me. and i have also realized how lonely i am without a boyfriend. my family asks me literally every time i see them if i have a boyfriend. an adult woman who i hadn't seen in literally 7 years asked me today if i was with someone. WHY is everyone so interested, 1st of all. 2nd, i have had my share of dumb idiot boys over these past years..even though i barely dated anyone seriously or for a long period of time..doesn't mean i have not gone through the boy phase of my life. i don't know if any of this makes sense..nor do i care. i am lonely and wish i liked people enough to date them. i also wish i knew how to even ask a guy out on a date who believes in abstinence. none of this is making sense to anyone. let me go put my clothes in the dryer..it's getting late

i still haven't written my Piazza entry, but i promised myself i would.
i just wanted to make a list kinda like John just did about what has been happening in my life. REAL special stuff, let me tell you.

-i met cheyenne jackson and kerry butler, got a picture with him/her, and got them to wish me a happy birthday.
-i lied to kerry butler's face.
-saw and loved 13 the musical.
-i'm obsessed with the way i look.
-i'm obsessed with montclair musical theatre.

-i passed out on a couch in the lounge.

summer is FLYING by. it's almost July. holy shit. well Piazza is absolutely a dream come true. i love my cast so much. and i love having millions of shows. like wow, this is what i want my life to be like. Only 17 shows left. it seems like a lot but they are FLYING by. so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE come guys. i will be beyond let down if you don't come. (i'm dramatic and okay with it)
